Child, Zachary

After graduating from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2006, Dr Child trained in orthopedic surgery at the University of New Mexico followed by fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and additional fellowship training in Spine Surgery at the Harborview Medical Center/University of Washington. Dr. Child then took a faculty position and was division chief of spine surgery at the University of Texas Medical school in San Antonio Texas. He was later recruited to develop the spine service for the new Tahoe Center for Orthopaedics and Wellness in Lake Tahoe California, a multidisciplinary center of excellence serving the Sierra Nevada region and providing institution for the United States Ski and Snowboard Association/US Ski Team where he is currently staff.
