My research is focused on the spinal pathology and its mechanobiological mechanisms involved in the disc degeneration, bone hypertrophy, inflammation, and homeostasis, especially spinal functional units adaptation and regeneration influenced by mechanical and biological environment, as well as how these mechanisms can be utilized in the treatment and prevention of chronic spinal-related disorders.
