Zengerle, Laura

Laura Zengerle holds a Masters Degree in Mechatronical Engineering and is a PhD student at the Institute of Orthopaedic Research and Biomechanics, Ulm and focuses on the study of the general biomechanics of the lumbar spine, investigation of disc herniations and possible treatments of lumbar spine diseases with novel techniques and implants. Therefore, she develops new test methods and testing machines in order to realize more physiological testing conditions for in vitro studies of the lumbar spine.
