Solla, Federico

Federico Solla is currently a consultant orthopaedic surgeon and deputy chairman of the surgical department at Lenval Hospital of Nice. His primary interest is in scoliosis surgery.
Dr Solla completed his training in orthopaedic and trauma surgery, spine surgery, and microsurgery at University “Claude Bernard” of Lyon, France.
He has been involved in teaching since he was a clinical lecturer at the University of Lyon (2009-2012), was later a faculty member at the European Association of Neurosurgery Societies (2011-2015), and is currently an honorary lecturer at the Medical School of Nice and the School of Physiotherapy of Nice.
He published 36 articles in peer-reviewed journals about scoliosis, spine surgery, pediatric orthopaedics, animal models, statistics, and mass casualty incidents.
He is a member of the French Society of Orthopaedic Surgery, the French Scoliosis Study Group, and the French Spine Society. He is also a fellow of the French Academy of Orthopaedics.
