Brodbelt, Andrew

Andrew Brodbelt is a consultant neurosurgeon at the Walton Centre in Liverpool, England, and an honorary clinical senior lecturer at The University of Liverpool. His PhD entitled 'Investigations in post traumatic syringomyelia' from The University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, led to a life long fascination in this condition.  His main interests include trying to understanding the underlying pathophysiology, fluid dynamics, and bio-mechanics, and looking at ways to improve outcomes for patients.  Andrew lives near the beach with his wife and three children, and enjoys active mountainous activities with his family.
