Endoscopic spine surgery has been steadily growing in popularity, with exponential growth in the technique for the past ten years. Joimax´ Faculties, Dr. Erik Traupe and Prof. Dr. Michael Kraus will be sharing their experience on modern endoscopic techniques and how this type of surgery can assist patients in faster recovery, enabling them to reduce their post-operative stay.
The presented Intracs® em, joimax electromagnetic navigation tracking and control system, allows for spinal procedures to be carried out with minimal X-ray control, drastically reducing radiation exposure, access time, and the entire length of the surgical procedure. In fact, all joimax® instruments and scopes can be tracked and accurately navigated through the appropriate sensors, which improves safety, expands endoscopic indications, and flattens the learning curve.
ESPINEA® board member Mr. Alastair Gibson will address on how full endoscopy technique combined with Endolif® stabilization produces excellent outcomes. And our faculty Dr. Ralf Wagner will, in a live surgery taking place in the ESPINEA academy in Karlsruhe, Germany, demonstrates the advantages of endoscopic surgical techniques.
We are looking forward to sharing the latest news on this technology for full endoscopic spine surgery with you.
