Teija Lund (MD, PhD) is an orthopaedic surgeon working in the Department of Spine Surgery at the Helsinki University Hospital. Her recent research activity has concentrated on the development of intervertebral discs during growth. The present study is a long-term follow-up of a longitudinal cohort study from the early 1990´s.
