Access by Plane

The international airport Göteborg Landvetter (GOT) is located 20 kilometres south-east of the city centre and offers more than 90 direct fight connections around the world. There are several daily flights to the main European capitals and business centres. In total about 6 million passengers are served annually. It is the city's only commercial passenger airport and the second largest airport of Sweden.

  • It’s easy to get to and from the airport with the shuttle bus service onsite. Different coach operators offer daily transportation service between the airport and the city centre (duration: approx. 25-30 minutes).   • At Göteborg Landvetter Airport, cars can be rented at Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt.

Access by Train

The modern and eco-friendly railway system makes taking the train to Gothenburg a good option to flying. The bus terminal Nils Ericssonterminalen is serviced by long distance and express bus companies like Flixbus, Nettbus and Bus4you.

Access by Car

The European highway routes E6, E20 and E45 pass through Gothenburg, making it easy to arrive by car. Swedish roads are toll free, with the exception of congestion charge in Gothenburg and Stockholm. The charge is applicable to all cars, driving in/out or through Gothenburg on weekdays and the car-owner is automatically invoiced. There are plenty of parking spaces in Gothenburg.
An average litre of gas is about 15 SEK.

The congress venue as well as all hotels can easily be reached using Gothenburgs's public transport network.
All tickets and travelling cards can be purchased at any of the public transport operator Västtrafik's sales outlets, or in the app To GoAchtung Link öffnet sich in einem neuen Fenster. The outlets are recognised by their blue flags and façade décor. Most of them are kiosks like Pressbyrån and 7-Eleven, or grocery stores. The Tourist Centre at Kungsportsplatsen sells 1-day and 3-day tickets. In Gothenburg, trams, buses and boats are always included in you public transport ticket/card.
