Due to the COVID-19 pandemic EUROSPINE was forced to take the decision to re-schedule the Spring Specialty Meeting from 2020 to 2021.

The focus of the EUROSPINE Spring Specialty Meeting 2021 will remain the same as it was planned for 2020: Dilemmas in Spine

Vajkoczy, Peter

Prof. Vajkoczy is full Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery, Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany. His fields of interest in spine surgery are degenerative spine disease, spinal oncology, and spinal navigation. He has published and co-authored 432 PubMed-listed papers. He is a member of the German Neurosurgical Society, EANS, WFNS, the German Academy of Neurosurgery, the German Spine Society, AO Spine and EUROSPINE, the Spine Society of Europe. His main interests include the pathogenesis and therapy of spinal metastatic disease, neuroimmunology of the spinal cord, the relevance of the sagittal balance for degenerative spine disease, and image-guided/robotic spine surgery. He engages with EUROSPINE EduWeek to harmonise and improve European training and education in the field of spine surgery.
