Jean-Charles Le Huec completed all of his education in his homeland, France. In 1987 he was a fellow in Montreal (Canada) and participated in various research projects (spine and knee). JC Le Huec became a Medical Doctor in 1987 and continued his studies in Biomechanics and Biomaterials (PhD in 1997). In 1998, he became a Professor of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Professor Le Huec is a member of the French College and Society of Orthopaedic Surgery, of the IGASS, ESS (former President), the NASS and the ISASS (former President). Prof. Le Huec is Head of the Spine Unit and Chairman of the Departmant of Orthopaedic and Traumatology at Polyclinique Bordeaux Nord. He is associate Director of the Surgical research Lab at Bordeaux University School of Medicine. Prof. Le Huec has published over 130 publications and participates in numerous research projects on spine (minimal invasive surgery, deformity, sagittal balance, robotic and neuronavigation), biomaterials and computer-assisted surgery.
