Spring Specialty Meeting 2020

30 April – 1 May, Frankfurt, Germany

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

Postponed: EUROSPINE Spring Specialty Meeting 2020

As the leading Spine society in Europe whose aim is to improve spine care for patients across Europe and worldwide, ensuring the health and wellbeing of all our participants is EUROSPINE’s utmost priority.

We are monitoring the current novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Europe closely. After a careful evaluation of the spreading coronavirus epidemic, and considering the recent measures taken so far by international governments, EUROSPINE was forced to take the decision to re-schedule the 2020 Spring Specialty Meeting.

We understand that this is a disappointment for many, however, it is not a decision we have taken lightly. Already registered delegates will be contacted individually and given the option to cancel.

In these turbulent and challenging times, you can count on the entire EUROSPINE organising team to do its best to respond to any query as soon as possible. If you have already registered for the Spring Specialty Meeting you will be contacted by Mondial Congress & Events () directly. If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact the Society at and we will be happy to answer.

The Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is currently raising concerns all around the world. While events in locations world-wide have been cancelled, the majority of events are being held successfully and without incident at the present moment.

With the EUROSPINE Spring Specialty Meeting due to take place in the beginning of May (still 8 weeks away), the EUROSPINE team continues to plan confidently for the conference. We currently have NO plans to postpone or cancel. The German health authorities currently do not recommend the cancellation of meetings of this size.

We’re very grateful for the ongoing support of our sponsors and attendees who continue to register and plan for the conference and we’ve not experienced any substantial impacts so far.

Should the health authorities of the respective countries, where EUROSPINE meetings are held, issue official orders for meetings such as ours to be canceled or postponed, we will of course comply.

Please be assured that your health is our utmost priority and we are taking the situation very seriously. Please keep checking this webpage. We’ll be updating it regularly as the situation evolves.
